WPFSI is a 20-year community development financial institution that provides capital and technical assistance to underserved businesses. He was worked in the financial services industry for over 29 years in providing capital to small businesses.

An experienced business leader, advisor, and entrepreneur with experience in both the private and public sectors. He has been involved as a senior advisor and business strategist to both large institutions, local governments, and successful Start-Ups including the University City Science Center – Launch Lane Accelerator, United Negro College Fund – STEM Ventures, Backstage Capital Venture Fund, and Black & Brown Founders to name a few. Thom is a past appointee by PA Governor Bob Casey for economic development and MBE compliance, co-Founding Board Member of both Mastery Charter Schools, and Black Male Educators Convening (BMEC).
